Business description

We are an experienced and versatile early music group. We cover the medieval (12th to 15th centuries), Tudor (15th to 16th centuries), Renaissance (16th to 17th centuries) and early baroque periods (17th to 18th centuries), playing on authentic instruments (recorders, lute, harp, crumhorns, fiddle, viol, harp, virginals, cornamuse, shawms, percussion .... and we sing vocal music of the time), and dress in authentic costume if required. We provide entertainment at castles, banquets, battlefields, fairs, and have played for ballet and drama productions, as well as various concerts. We also demonstrate and teach early dance where appropriate. We can provide a programme to suit any (early) themed event of any length, indoors or out (we even have our own pavilion tent).
