Hunstrete House is a beautiful 18th century house set in seventy-one acres of its own land on the edge of the Mendip Hills. It is a perfect setting for your wedding ceremony and reception with its large gardens and its own deer park.

Home of the Popham family for three hundred and fifty years, Hunstrete House has the atmosphere of a private country house, rather than a hotel. It is beautifully furnished with antiques and original paintings while the formal gardens, stretching over six acres, provide a unique opportunity for your wedding photographs.

From the grandest wedding to a small intimate gathering, Hunstrete House can provide a glorious setting, wonderful food and friendly service. This beautiful English Country House with a tranquil and elegant atmosphere boasts an award-winning dining room which will seat up to fifty and, if required, a marquee can be erected which can allow us to cater to up to one hundred and fifty guests.
