Whigmaleerie is a five-piece Ceilidh Dance Band based near Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The Whig's are more than just a Ceilidh Band but also play a selection of Country, Rock and pop covers from the 1950's to modern covers - A band that offers something for everyone at your wedding, function. party or corporate event.

With over 25 years experience as a preforming Band in the North East of Scotland, Whigmaleerie's not-so-delicate blend of drums; fiddle; keyboards; guitars; and vocals gives them a contemporary sound, drawn on the traditional music of Scotland, Ireland.

Being a totally live band, not relying on backing tracks to enhance their sound, gives Whigmaleerie the flexibility to integrate and participate with their audience and gives a relaxing, fun loving feel to any event where they perform.
